Lumina Jakarta showcases two signature attractions—the Immersive Room and the Glowing Forest—offering a blend of visual, cultural, and entertainment experiences for holiday visitors.
Seribu Islands Draws 10,866 Visitors During Eid BreakThe 'Astha Batavia' Immersive Room Experience stands out, taking guests on an immersive cinematic journey through the essence of Jakarta’s soul.
Featuring breathtaking visual technology and lighting effects, guests are taken on an odyssey through Jakarta’s past. The journey begins at the legendary Sunda Kelapa port—once a bustling hub for the spice trade—leads through the grandeur of Old Batavia's colonial architecture, and culminates in Jakarta’s rise as a dynamic, luminous global city.
The exhibition is open daily from March 22 to 27, 2026, between 10 AM and 8 PM at the Jakarta Pavilion, TMII. This immersive experience offers a unique time-travel journey that seamlessly weaves together history, culture, and modernity within a captivating digital theater.
Visitors can also enjoy the 'Hutan Menyala' (Glowing Forest), a visual installation in the bamboo forest area featuring artistic lighting at night. The light radiating through the lush bamboo creates a warm and enchanting atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely stroll or for capturing moments with family.
This year, Hutan Menyala carries the 'Nuansa Lebaran' (Eid Vibe) theme, delivering a festive yet cozy atmosphere characteristic of Eid al-Fitr. This attraction takes place from March 22 to 27, 2026, between 4 PM and 8 PM at the Boulevard Bamboo Forest area in TMII.
Adding to the excitement, Lumina Jakarta showcases musical performances by Jakarta's very own Kojek Rap and Orkes Biang Kerok, known for their energetic and entertaining style.
Lumina Jakarta aims to provide families with a range of creative, interactive, and entertaining holiday experiences throughout the Eid break. This initiative is also a call for locals and visitors to make the most of their vacation by exploring the capital’s wide array of exciting attractions.
